Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. Shooting to fame for his roles in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. Alongside appearing on Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs and The Lost Law & Order, and numerous others. Qualls survived Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was first diagnosed at the age of 14 old. In two years the cancer went into the stage of remission. Treatment was carried out so quickly that it caused a serious effect on the body, and stunted his growth. As he got older, financial security seemed to be his ultimate goal as the experience of poverty was a constant throughout his childhood. I've been living so cheaply and for so long, I'm able been able to enjoy that financial security or else the world seems uncontrollable for me when he spoke to an interviewer. The man also recalls his early years to help him stay motivated. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said. In real life and on the screen, DJ could love to be a father. He isn't chosen by the director to play those parts, but he does say. He would like to become a dad one day, so he can devote more time to his son as well as his professional.
